Airfix Saturn V Skylab

Nice. What scale?
-
Sorry! 1/144 scale. Great kit - it has loads of spare parts in the box, that enabled me to make a German rocket, too !!
-
Professional work all the way!

Why thank you Mr Basher - as soon as I track down the other photo's I took, I'll put them up too !

Good! Subject not too frequent!

Well, this one really took some doing, but here's the Space Shuttle I've been working on!
Revell 1/72 - word to the wise: throw out the black line decals, and paint them by hand... :(

Those are all incredible profession-grade models! I think I like the Shuttle best. It's a shame about those decals but to your credit and our amazement, your paintwork is so flawless it turned out to be an enhancement!

Excellent work. My favourite is the Harrier
-
Gorgeous Harrier and it makes a nice companion to a stock Second-Generation Harrier (I'd love to this wing mated to a Sea Harrier fuselage).

Funny you should say that: it was the original plan to build the 'big wing' onto a 1/24 Sea Harrier, but the client decided he didn't like the cockpit height, and we plumped for the
GR1/GR3/AV-8A kit instead, which also provided all the correct weapons, and a spare GR3 nose, which became the return capsule for a German Moon rocket...but I digress...
One of these days I might do a 1/72 version - maybe even produce some wings if anyone is interested...
-
DJ, I'm at a loss here, I can't decide which of your commissions is the best. So I'll take 'em all. Bag 'em , please.
I can see smiling, satisfied clients there. Congrats!
-
I'm kind of partial to the shuttle, but I gotta say that harrier is pretty sweet too. :)
-
Thanks for the kind words guys!
If anyone is interested in doing a big wing Harrier, I can still find the drawings I used to plan the wing shape/size, and talk you through it. But a word of warning - if you do what I did, and glue large pieces of plastic card to the existing Harrier wing, watch out for the whole lot rippling up, and bringing you out in a cold sweat! Only thing to do: sand the whole wing to hell and back!!
-
Well, I'd like a set of the drawings, though I'll likely be working in 1/72 or 1/48 (the former is more likely). Since the big wing was supposed to fit first-generation Harrier and Sea Harrier fuselages, it might look interesting combined with the LIDS et al. of the AV-8C.
-
Hope these are ok for you guys!

Here we go, the lighted 1/1000 Polar Lights Enterprise - A!!
