You're not going to add a blast deflector to the chassis at all?

Why not
From what I can see from the web,  the elevation angle does not really appear exceed 45 degrees given the shortish range of the missile

Primer, Half profile beauty shots.

Currently it has a nice hue of green on it, with the launcher a bit different. Images shortly

Its British, one of Sir Giffard Le Quesne Martel's designs.

The image is from the Armoured Archives (you can see the watermark on the right), he mentions the tank in the ASTRON - Chick & Hen Concept Tank video.

Google lens thinks it's a variant of the Japanese Type 100 heavy tank, but the wheels look like they belong to a Christie type suspension, so i'm assuming it's Russian (or maybe British?). The image search shows links from mostly Russian sites as well.

This is great... I am really enjoying watching this evolve. Must confess, I was not aware of this kit and can see a lot of potential in it

The engine/landing gear section is finished and I started on the habitat/cargo module and the supports for the upper sections. Everything above the engine frame and landing gear (including the silver/gray square base) is just press fit. I'll take the base off so I can build the structures without putting too much pressure on the landing gear.

One very nice feature of this kit is that the parts press together firmly. Small sub-assemblies can be press fit together and they'll make a sturdy structure. When ready, a drop of glue at the joints locked it all in place.
