Most of the paint is done, the lower wings are attached to the fuselage & main gear struts attached to the wings.

I think she's looking rather good, right now.

Are those flags double-red over black or double-red over purple? And, if the former, what does the black flag mean?   

(I had to read the sign to know what the others meant - don't have that system down here.  )

Uncle Fester is trying to entertain Pugsley and Wednesday as they are very upset at not being able to swim with the sharks. Lurch is fascinated with the new jeep dune buggy. Gomez is trying to negotiate with Officer Paddy O'Brien but he is having none of it. Morticia is, well, being Morticia.

Yes. That's a very apt description for the Fort.

Call me weird, but I always kinda liked the much-maligned Fort.  As a former instructor pilot, I appreciated the fact that he was given some serious consideration in the design.

Agreed. Looking at contemporary trainer designs, it is rather amazing how little attention was given to designing in visibility for the instructor!
