Recently i have both toy version of patrol cruiser from old scifi series 'Space Prescint'  :D
Here are some photos of current condition of the model:

Model itself is well... huge, lenght is about 40cm and its probably in 1/24 or 1/16 scale.
Details are preety well done, thought not all are present. Few other things like dors, wepons sockets etc requires some redoing, but major problem is with plastic itself - it totaly lost its flexibility and some parts just break itself when are even delicatly bent.

Below some reference photos of studio model:

I'll try to restore that toy to look like orginall studio model + I'm planing to make complete interior.

Looking good!

And the model has plenty of potencial for additional detailing, if you are into it  ;)

As for bending parts without breaking, I have used ithe following techniques in the past:

1. Diping them in very hot water for a couple of minutes.

2. Using a hair dryer in minimum heat setting, and not too close to the kit (Pay very close attention to this one,
because it can have potentialy disastrous effects if not done properly!!!).

Hope it helps!
