I suspect a 5.5in will not be far behind the Matador (pun intended).

good bet.
But if you have just bought a AA 5.5inch at Scalemodelworld and THEN you see the Matador, there is a certain amount of
Denial you can do for yourself :D

However given the ease of construction of the AA version over the gazillion parts you are bound to get in an AFV club version, outside of price..not sure which may be better in the long run

The AEC armoured car is nice to see: as far as I know, that's one of the vehicles that there's never been a kit of. (Prefer it in 1/72nd of course...)

True.  I looked at it and whilst part of me was very interested, the rest struggled to come up with an application.

Italeri 1/35th S-Boot.

Bit big for an S-Boat.   You'd need a dedicated minelayer to carry that sort of mine around.  Of course, you could use them for Iranian mines, as the Russian mines the Iranians used back in the 1980s were an almost exactly copy of the German mine depicted...

Honestly, you lot call your selves whiffers? ;)....besides the S-boot, there's a type XXIII in 1/35 - containers ahead of the sail. The
landwasser schlepper, one or two on the stern.* Towed behind a Seehund. Hang one under the new Revell Ju 88. Build a bloody
Trebuchet and park it atop a Tiger chassis.

 * with a little more finnagaling, a completly submersible LWS ?

I was thinking about trebuchet configurations. The trebuchet frame could be centered over the turret ring, which would provide both support for the trebuchet mine sling and a convenient area to load a new mine. It may be easier to have the mines launched to the rear, since it would reduce the travel for the "counterweight" which would be provided by a motor or directly from the main tank engine.

Alternatively, the trebuchet engine could be packed inside a cut down turret and the framework attached to the turret, allowing some azimuth pointing.

Sorry, picture of the rototrailer is all wrong.  It should show it abandoned on the side of some lonely desert track! ;D

They weren't popular because of the way the fuel leaked out of the hubs where it was stored.  The seams leaked like sieves apparently.

The 3in looks interesting.  Great Whiff picture. It's a brave man indeed who used the Lakeman MG mount.  Usually it would be in danger of all the springs wrapping the mount around him!  ;D ;D

Faults or not, I would love to have a half-dozen of the Rota-Trailers in a supply train as they are perfect for a science fiction project :)

apparently not - space for the after-market guys.
As there were several versions of both the launcher bobbins & the carpets too, I can see many possibilities for this kit.
Note :- this kit is not of the first type used at Dieppe.
