Wanting to biuld to build a 1/72 M60A2 'starship', I hunted round for a Revell M60A3, the ordered a Modelltrans M60A2 resin conversion set, now I find Italeri are re-releasing the ESCI M60A2 kit, and now this from Takom . . .   :icon_twisted:

I believe you will will find that these represent the unrotated projectile (UP) launchers add in 1940 with each launcher carrying 20 seven-inch (178 mm) rockets.  See here:  http://www.hmshood.org.uk/ship/aaa.htm and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unrotated_Projectile
