Some brave choices there for 32nd scale. An Anton Ju-87 is a suprise to be sure for example.

Nice to see some new BRDM's out. I wonder why they took so long to make an SU-152.They have had the KV chassis for awhile now.

If the MTVR makes it to the shelves, I'll be getting one or two. I need one as the prime mover for my M198, and the other would be a gun truck of some sort or another.

I've seen the FMTV built into an SF support "War Pig" and have ideas for several kits that are a cross between a modern-day LRDG and a private military contractor/mercenary group, so I could be persuaded to add one of those as well.

It appears that Trumpeter has gone out of their way to provide a parts sprue containing a wide variety of ordnance with this kit. Some of the items included are very interesting :)

The SLAM and HARM are only there because they're on the same sprue as the GBU-10. The whole sprue is from one of their 1/32 weapons sets (LINK). At least they don't make you buy heaps of unnecessary ordnance as in their Su-25s and MiG-23s.
One thing I'll never understand is Trumpeter's obsession with highly-detailed engines - that nobody is ever going to see!

Reminds me of the Minicraft (Academy) 1/48th scale F-117 kit that was issued many years ago that included of all things a pair of AIM-7 Sparrow air to air missiles in addition to a rather decent pair of laser guided bombs. That was back when much was still not known about what the aircraft was cleared to carry. I still prefer the Testors F-117 with the B61 nuclear bomb shapes.

Just saw on Cybermodeler (LINK) that Trumpeter will release a 1/48 MiG-23M Flogger-B.... in August of this year!

I ran both the CPI numbers and the Rule of 72 on what I paid in todays money for the Italeri MiG-27 in 1982.
Suffice to say the least the new issue kit is no more expensive and will be a sight better than what thrilled me back in those days. :)
