Well it was raining but not that much. Was an underwater hotel I was staying in whilst in Singapore.

Cool! Plus three Northstars, an Expeditor, and a 408 Lanc. Perhaps a 19th Dakota peeping above the uppermost hangar?

But what's puzzling me is the aircraft beside Hangar 66? I'm getting a DH Dove vibe (or, maybe, a foreshortened Heron). Any guesses?

There's another oddly-shaped 'blob' to the right (partly obscured) but it doesn't resemble any airframe I can think of

Ah, that would explain the extra-deep fuselage shadow. Well spotted Robert ... bad pun intended

Chieftain Mark 10 in the distinctive camouflage of the British Army Berlin Brigade. Introduced in 1983, it was more suitable for a city & against buildings it was very effective. All tanks in the Brigade was painted identically to disguise its strength (which was 18 Chieftains).

Text: We saw a colourful "plane parade" Friday in Whitehorse. Every year float planes are moved from Schwatka Lake to Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport via the Alaska Highway.

Our carrier compliance crews help by stopping traffic and escorting the planes.

The convoy allows float planes to make the trip without being disassembled, either to fit a transport trailer (reducing their wingspan) or else have their landing gear changed in order to land at the airport.
