New Spaceship from the Black and Decker Shipyards

This is the start of a current build. I had an old B & D Dustbuster that was kaput so I stripped it out and used it as a starting point. Not sure where its going yet but the idea will evolve. The pink part over the original docking point for the charger came off a drink bottle. Still looking at ideas for the superstructure on top that will hide most of the vac handle. I didn't photograph the vac so I found a picture on the web.

I just love builds using "found objects".

This one's going to be fun to watch!

In progress.
Using PVC Pipe fitting to bend plastic card to a desired curvature. This will run from the secondary hull (former charging mount) to the forward section of the main hull(fingers crossed).
Still need to add plastic strip to secondary hull to get  required contours.

That PVC pipe fitting will possibly be the subject of another ship build in the future.  Had it for about 5 years, so plenty of time.

Could definitely be something out of the "Orville" or "Andromeda" universes.

It looks good! I second "The Orville" universe aesthetic.
