box says "plastic kit" - no mention of "vacform" -- might that mean its limited-run injection styrene & a departure from their previous medium ?

Every vac-form model I've built or owned has been a plastic kit:icon_fsm:  ;D

There lots of traffic on the Facebook Vacuform/Resin Kit Builders Group on Sanger.

I'll start with this exchnage between David Cooper and Gerald:

I had sent the results of our suggestions for 1/48 USA aircraft, to Gerald Elliot of Sanger Engineering.

Here is his response:

Hello David,
Many thanks to you and your members for gathering new model ideas.

The models that interest me most are:
B-66
B-45
XB-70
Lockheed Neptune
B-32 Dominator
B-2
RB-47

I am not sure about the B-66, surely there are loads of models for this?
The B-45 I used to produce in 1/48th and I do still have the moulds somewhere.
The RB-47 could easily be produced from my existing B-47 kit
Love to do the XB-70 – I thought there was a model already?
Neptune is easy to produce

I’m not sure how many modellers have voted but I am keen to make some ‘masters’ but I just need to have a minimum of 100x kits per model.
Again many thanks for your time and trouble. Any further thoughts that you have would be most welcome.
IF its not already available the B-66 & B-45 would be my 1st.

Best wishes,
Gerald.

So there is new product survey going on now which is asking about a new 1/48 North American B-45. Also the B-66.

If you are interested, I am willing to proxy vote for you.

There was a 1/48 Collect-aire RB/B-66 available which still shows up for sale occasionally.  I have a copy in the stash:

Likewise, Collect-aire also did a 1/48 B/RB-45A/C Tornado - also have copy in stash:

I also seem to recall someone was releasing a styrene copy shortly or perhaps I am mistakenly thinking of the 1/72 Valom one...

1/48 XB-70 is taken care of by HpH.  you just need to decide which child or body part you are willing to sell in exchange...

There used to be a 1/48 Attic Resin P2V neptune available - they still show up occasionally:

There is also a 1/48 Vacuform version available from Combat Models:

A 1/48 B-32 Dominator would be great.  Apart from one scratch build I have seen (see here), no-one has a kit available as far as I understand.

Also, no-one has done a 1/48 B-2 at least as far as I am aware, though Combat models did do 1/48 versions of the XB-35 and YB-49.

RB/B-47 is served already by Sanger as well as a resin one that I have in my stash (no name as far as I recall).
