re-routing plumbing on a Tu-95 ?
« on: December 11, 2014, 04:24:24 PM »
Anyone have a photo of the engine installation of a Tu-95 Bear showing the Kuznetsov NK-12 with all the cowlings off ??
Wondering about any spare space for re-routing plumbing etc for fitting to an alternative airframe. ;)

What's the diameter of DML's 1/100th scale Bear cowling ? it would help me in selecting a recipient aircraft from the stash.

Best I can find is here: http://www.krasnayazvezda.com/air/appareils/bombardiers/tu95.php

Can't post the image directly, but if you scroll down to the section called "Description succinte du Tu-95M" you'll find a cowlings-off pic in there.
