Hi guys
Since this great GB deadline was extended, allow me to submit my tiny little project: the Kubus Hovercraft.
Based on the famous 1943 Warsow Ghetto Uprising vehicle 1/72 kit, by Mirage Hobby.

But with the seashore as the landscape...

And this time manufactured in a composite alloy, and transformed into an hovercraft version...

I think I forgot to mention jet propulsion :)
There are some pieces still missing, but you got the general idea.
Sorry for no better backup story, but my imagination is currently on vacation... :)
Thanks for watching!

Yes. I do.
As always.. great vision

Antonio the Great!
WOnderful idea, I can't wait to seeing it finished!
:)
-
Interesting & neat concept.

That's awesome! Is the driver 1/32 or 1/35 scale? I have the Kubus in 1/35 and it was a pretty simple kit to put together. It definitely looks good rescaled into a racer!
-
Great stuff! Love the driver peeking out of the top!

Hi
I forgot to mention the question of the scale.
The original kit is the 1/72 version, but I thought it to be too big for a one-manned vehicle, so I "shrank it" by adding a 1/48 pilot from the spare box. :)
Thanks for the nice words!

Wow!
-
I had an idea of Kubus as a steampunk tank but hovercraft-way never crossed my mind :D I love it :D
-
Oh, that's a gorgeous concept and execution.
-
Very cool.
By chance is the race course some sort of track with sides to compensate for an ACV's inherent lack
of directional stability and steering accuracy?
;)
Something like this perhaps?

Wow did that beauty ever finish up a treat!
Love the bright red finish and very cool markings which compliment it very nicely!
Looks every bit the winner to me!

Looks like Little Red Riding Hood has gobbled up the Big Bad Wolf! ;D
Great build, Antonio!
Mind you, I wouldn't want to drive it, so I can understand the look of apprehension on the driver's face. ;)

Love it!
-
Looking very red but still cool as they come!
-
Great job Antonio.
-
Wow, I missed this completed!
Fantstic model!
