Title: Looking for decals: 1/72 CH/HH-3E Jolly Green Giant
Post by: Matt Wiser on January 27, 2017, 12:28:30 PM
Fellows, I just got the Revell HH-3E Jolly Green Giant rescue helo via oldmodelkits.com, and though the kit itself is n great shape, the decals are less so, as well as being inaccurate (VA tailocde which belongs to the VA ANG's 192nd FW, and they never operated the helo). Am looking for replacement decals or alternative (there is a resin kit of the HH-3E from an outfit in the UK, and they have decals for both CONUS and USAFE based Jolly Greens). Can anyone help? TIA.

I'm not sure whether they have precisely what you're looking for, but maybe try Wolfpak Decals? LINK! (http://millcreekconsultants.com/WP72-0.html)

They've often got some oddball shemes/subjects.

Any other ideas? That sheet is sold out, unfortunately.

Well there is this sheet, doing one of my CH-53E's with a sheet I got sometime ago. Go to US Military section then scroll down

Mind you, I've got a spare CH-53E sheet which came with the kit (1/72 scale that is)   ;)

EDIT: OOPS sorry, wrong helicopter
