I'd look at turning about 2/3 of the ochre into mid-green/olive.

How about a vehicle of a unit dedicated to the defense of the North West costal area?

Still going to have problems as soon as it moves into a green area, mate.

we never get it right with our Abrams anyway

My thinking wasn't about practicalities but rather aesthetics.

Nothing says Team Yankee like an M1 Abrams in MERDC. I love that combo.

Snow, Temperate, with trees and shrubs has moved to the top of the list of paint schemes I want on an Abrams.

It has promise but with the stipulation that the poor driver is not directly under the gun tube and has been moved to the left side of the hull.

1/16 display model.

With working suspension.

Personally I kinda have an interest in tracking this particular WIP...... because the builder claims that he is contracted to build this one as a promotional material for the US to sell more Abram tanks, with the ROC being one of the targeted customers (this round is on top of the 108 M1A2Ts already ordered)......

EDIT: As it turns out the model is for showing the moving parts only and isn't painted.

Forget about his bow and arrows- why wait until that sparrow has done his deed when I can just bury him right now 'cause I'm sick and tired of hearing why he wants to have his way with the cock robin!?

Projects from late 1970's and early 1980's to develop a heavy IFV based on M1 tank chassis:

M1 Air Defence Variant:

There's a resin version of this coming out. The masters look well done. Company out of Glasgow, not AA.
