On a RC forum, somebody posted pics from the ground, and:

"""""""""""""""""
On Friday, September 25, an aerial tribute commemorating the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II will take place over the National Mall and Potomac River. Organized by the Arsenal of Democracy Flyover, the aerial tribute will include over 55 WW II era airplanes flying in historical sequence formations representing the significant battles of WW II and ending with the missing man formation.

The live stream will include special programming, including interviews with WW II heroes, starting at 10:00 AM ET. Live coverage of the first formation approaching the National Mall will start at approximately 11:30 AM ET.
"""""""""""""""""
https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=45512527&postcount=79901

Just read that the fly past has been cancelled due to weather. Will try again tomorrow.

From a Confederate Air Force Facebook post.

At 10:00 AM EDT we will present a video tribute including the rarest WWII aircraft and interviews with veterans participating in the Arsenal of Democracy. Unfortunately the weather is not going to safely allow the aircraft to fly today through Washington DC airspace. Since our authorization to fly through that restricted airspace will expire today, we won't be able to reschedule the flying portion of the program.

We're sorry we couldn't put on the flyover we'd planned, however we hope you enjoy the program streaming on our YouTube and Facebook pages which includes footage of the aircraft, crews, and veterans involved in the Arsenal of Democracy event. We thank you all for your support and understanding.

We also would like to thank our presenting sponsors the Bob and Dolores Hope Foundation and Department of Defense.

I have no information about this image other than what was gleamed from NASM website, which was minimal. That being:

"B-24's of the 464th BG climb over mountains in Northern Italy on a mission in 1944."

However, the image was so striking I had to give it a go!

The picture, though, is definitely a CMV-22B.  I'm rather looking forward to Hasegawa bringing out a kit of this variant.

We need to talk to car makers about adding the “NO STEP” to remind the kids and the “LIFT HERE” to be able to find the blasted handles that operate the folding or removal of the rear seats! Instead of PILOT and RIO I would put DRIVER and SILENT ONE.
