... An old soon-to-be retired anti-gravity fuel/maintenance barge...
Love it Quote from: tiking on August 06, 2020, 03:43:43 AM... An old soon-to-be retired anti-gravity fuel/maintenance barge...That's a shame. Surely swapping in some later-model Babson gravito-electric couplers - such as the Fifth Force FFXG-31 - would extend the run-time of this handy-looking unit?
Beautiful model of a heavily used piece of equipment. It has a "used hard but well maintained" look about it that suggests that it has a lot of service life left in it.
Trusty old A/G barge obviously seen lot of duty. Weathered over the years but weathered its service well. Excellent build of unusual subject.

Definitely getting a really solid "Tales from the Loop" vibe with this one Charles. Great stuff!
Tales from the Loop! That's why it seemed so familiar, intentional or not. Great job, Charles! You should check out Simon Stålenhag's artwork for inspiration, if you haven't seen his work.
Never heard of 'Tales from the loop', before. Simon Stålenhag I've heard of, the artist from Sweden.

"Tales from the Loop" is a Amazon Prime live action series based - in part - on some of the artwork from his book(s).
He can probably get some inspiration from your work as well!
