I am looking to see if anyone has built a Marquardt Ramjet in 1/72?

I found the following images of the Ranmjet be it RW or What-if.

What is the correct shape for a Marquardt Ramjet? Would this be a good candidate for 3D printing?

Middle photo is not a ramjet installation, it is a racing aircraft with the radiators and oil coolers relocated to the wingtips.  If memory serves me correctly, it was named after a piece of music, "Begin the Beguine", the score of which runs along the fuselage.

I will need to do some digging and checking, but I believe this was covered in a fairly recent issue of a magazine dedicated to Mustangs.

Only reason I knew about it was what I've read about that racer and the printed suspicions that the relocated radiators affected stability, leading to the racer's crash.

I will see if I can find the article on the ramjet testing as I remember there being more than one size tested.  It would be interesting to show in combat with some of the Soviet ramjet-boosted fighter concepts.

Well, I've built two Marquardt RJ43 ramjets in 1/48, they're attached to a BOMARC.  ;D  :icon_fsm:

Hasegawa offered an in-the-box conversion of the Mustang test aircraft in 1/48, not sure who
may have done one in 1/72.

Shape wise it's pretty simple, to my eye a couple of Vulcan pods could be used to get the basic shape.
The RJ20 in the pic is the same as the units on the Mustang.
