Hi Guys

During the build some of you reckoned Monty would look better at smaller scales so as promised

"Scale to Taste"

This is Monty at my intended scale  approx. 1/32 - 1/35 with soldier for reference,  apologies didn't get him painted...…….

by Robomog, on Flickr

Now at 1/72 - 1/76 Scale he towers over Arthur and his Land Rover...………..

And for the people who want there monsters absolutely MAHOOSIVE!   Monty at 1/144 - 1/150 Scale against an N scale Land Rover.

Apologies for no figures in this shot, i've put my packet of N scale figures somewhere safe...……  so safe I don't know where I put them.

-Sigh-  another brain cell dies...………….

Thanks for Looking

Mog

I think Monty has a promising career in TV/movies. Spaceships and aliens tend to vary in size! Great looking model!

That's me every day. You should see me wander around after going down to the basement to get something! Typing on a keyboard would be a lot easier if someone would stop rearranging the letters.......

Love this build. I picked up several coffee cup toppers to keep in the drawer of spare parts.

Cappuccino builds are both superb in their respective approaches to flying saucer enigma.
Envision each featured in diffferent episodes of new X-Files series.

One of your most delightful builds yet, Mog!

Gotta go with 1/144. Towering over lesser life forms for the win.

Thanks guys, sadly no film offers yet, Mr Spielberg has not beaten a path to my door with a fist full of wonga.

But I'm happy to remain a humble modeller, when your passion becomes your job it's no longer fun.

Thanks for looking

It can be, if you look upon the design parameters of the director & the deadlines as challenges, rather than as inconveniences. I admit I probably couldn't but it'd be fun to have a go & see how I went. ;)
