And what is wrong with 1/72? I can give you 32 or 48 reasons why the other scales are no better!!  ;D

Nothing wrong if you like that scale...unfortunately (for me), I prefer 1/48. :(

NP. When I was younger I did 1/48 but now I am spaced constrained so 1/72 is it.  :-[

And yet some folks say that when they were younger they did 1/72 but now they are older and the eyes/hands/patience are not what they once were they are going for the larger scales... ;D

The eyesight is certainly an issue. But SHWBO is not willing to give me the space for 1/48 so itty bitty pieces it is.

Well that's final then...you only cross SHMBO at your own peril...

Nope, evidently the 1/72 version was successful enough for Igor to decide to do this on his own! I had no idea until I saw it at another forum.

Unfortunately he's made a rather egregious error and put the cargo door on both sides - the real deal has it on the port side only.

And yes, I will get one at some point!

Easy compromise: buy it, and send it to me. I'd love one of each 1/72 and 1/48!!

And if anyone's wondering no, sadly I'm yet to get my own 1/48 FU-24. I want one so, so bad  :'(

Never having seen a Unicraft kit in the flesh & trusting my fellow modellers that they were total crap, it's nice to see that these images completely endorse their opinion!

Unicraft P.1127 (lower moulding in image, with my own interpretation above) ... ah well, it gave me the incentive to make my own, a quiet lunchtime and a block of tooling resin :)
