Thank you , guys :)

Time for some paint...It's probably too green/too light/too brown/too olive but it'll stay like that :)

@Artoor - I would not worry too much about the paint, most often it would fade under direct sunlight and touch-up painting with spray paint or brush would eventually give the aircraft areas of colour that would not match up or blend with the original paint.

Seriously , I really don't care about paint shade because like You wrote, it fades, changes shade after gloss cote, flat cote, after wash it's darker, pigments and oils are changing it even more.
I wrote it because I know a lot of modellers (better to say JMNs) who are searching whole world lookind for THIS EXACT shade :) And after weathering it looks like f.ex. normal, standard RAF Green :)

But I've readen today...Arguing with Joyless Modelling Nazi is similar to pig wrestling. After some time You get covered with mud etc. and pig gets more excited :)

@Artoor - agreed, the pig usually has a better time of it.

As for the Paint Police, they can all go have a mutual wank-festival as far as I am concerned.  I could never understand the intensity of their concerns over the color issue when trying to represent it on a model.  So much effort over nothing.

That's one I have to remember and use it on next contest :D

Anyway, that's all for Huey :) Sharkmouth is painted with masks. Weathering is done with AK,AMMO MIG, Tamiya and Vallejo.

Amazing job! Nice wear and tear, although you should have someone look at the oil leak between the transmission and rotor shaft. You wouldn't want them to have an accident over Charlie territory on the way to the surf!

I just had to have this arsenal plane :) I wonder if it would have a chance to fly with all these guns. AFAIK Jumo 004 wasn't good engine with it's short lifetime (I remeber that it had to be overhauled after 8h of running or sth like that).
It's an 1996 Revell kit painted with AK Real Color range, weathered with Ammo Mig, Tamiya and AK washes, pigments and fluids.
Very nice little fighter with great fit, unusual for Revell.
It's a pity that there is no larger model of this one - I just love shape of it :)

I seem to recall someone was creating a 1/32 resin kit.

EDIT:  it may have been LEM Kits but rather the P.1099A:

Yep, LEM Kits had or going to release one but A-version heavy fighter, which is different than P but maybe, if A will sell well....who knows :D

Me.1099P is on the shelf right now so let's move on...

I've never liked this design as much as 1989 version but like pokemons...I want to collect them all so I bought one and it's good :)

Cockpit is quite detailed but seat is like old Revell. You know, same seat in different models :) After some search I found that is quite similar to A-7 Corsair seat so I used it as a basis for detailing (but not going mad with it).

Instrument panel wasn't shown in movie. I found visualization but without colors so I used them freely :)

There was no stick, just another panel so I did one like on cockpit visualization:

As for now, Moebius set is going together like a dream. I hope that it'll stay that way :)

I quite like this design but it screams to be a Scifi creation.

Wait - Batman vs. Superman was a documentary?

The Batwing does look like it belongs in a proper SF, vs a superhero fantasy universe.

The cockpit add-ons looks great!

I meant, it looks more like it should be built as a space fighter or maybe something out of Star Wars or similar.

Finish at last...
Great model, there were some problems with engines fit but this had no effect on overall assembling experience.
The model is painted with Tamiya and Mr Hobby paints as usual. I've tried a bit of color building by putting shades of blue and grey as a base, which then were covered with Rubber Black paint. The model has no decals, subtle weathering was done with Tamiya and Vallejo pigments, as well as AMMO oilbrushers. Wash is neautral gray.

Beautiful painting and finishing!

Every time I look at the Batwing it reminds me of an almost finished origami version of the Lochkeed SR-71. One last fold and it is done  ;D
