Highway of death
« on: November 20, 2019, 11:07:38 PM »
I have been trying out different techniques and diorama design styles for some time now. Been working out on the ‘Damaged scattered’ look, and car damaged look. Haven’t been able to decide on a possible diorama look but been working on variations(at least two). Figures will also be added later. Still needs a little bit more work.

Oh its nice how you photoshop in some nature scenes in the back ground to try to fool us that this is actually a model build... ::)

The only thing I would add is steel wire from the burned out tires. Otherwise you’ve nailed it.

That and small-medium pieces of bent sheet metal and scattered glass pieces.

In some cases there are no steel belt reidue left. I have seen scenes like this without the steel wires. It all depends on the degree of the fire intensity. But I could have included several with the steel belt like I did with the burnt out truck. Trust me. I've done my research too. :)

Thank you for looking.  Since these photos were taken I have since changed the diorama design and edited the content of the diorama. Will post photos at a later date.

Looking forward to that.

Amazing detail as always ... but I love how you handled the worst-off of the pickup trucks (especially the box)

Thanks, but unfortunately, it has been cancelled.
