VF1 Valkyrie Recover
« on: September 08, 2014, 11:05:41 PM »

This will be my VF1 crash recovery diorama. Starting with the 1/72 Hasegawa VF1 fighter, it was sub assembled and then severely damaged. The engines have been dismantled so what we have is basically just a shell of the aircraft. The trailer is a bandai 1/114 trailer for a Gundam truck. It fit the fighter perfectly so I have repurposed it.

The trailer is pretty much done, now its on to painting and weathering the wreck.

BTW, the brave pilot, Major Hikaru Yamanashi ejected and is doing fine. :)

Interesting.
All hail the God of Frustration!!!

You can't outrun Death forever.
But you can make the Bastard work for it.

Couldn't it just transform into its GERWALK or BATTROID state and self recover?

Of course it could, but then I wouldn't be able to build this.  ;)

It looks just a bit too shot up for that - big hole through the stbd engine casing.
