North American B-45 Tornado

Kitbashing ramblings.............
B-45 is a rarely mentioned jet.  Mach2 has a pricey 1/72 kit, otherwise no B-45s out there.
To kitbash a "B-45 like" 1/72 model; can use 1/48 Arado 234 4-jet version wings.  Wing span of both models are close.
For a basis fuselage a 1/72 Rita might be used.  Is same length as B-45.  Rita fuselage looks more jet like (to me) than other WW2 bombers that approx size.  Replace rudder & tail wings (rear of fuselage?) with something non-Rita.  Trying to avoid obvious rewing of well known bomber (B-24 etc).
Do need to work landing gear into Arado wing or build gear up.

Figured a vacuform was likely.  But didn't know.

Or --- Use 1/48 Arado.  Modify nose for 1/72 crew accomodations and modify rear of fuselage to have tail gun(s).
Or --- Go ahead and do B-24 etc rewing.  Thatz a cool build on its own !

The 1/48 Collect-Aire one is resin.  Click on image below for more details.

Off topic:  I like the idea of a modified Ar234 with a tail turret from either the Ju188C/JU388:

Or the Ju188G:
