I've had my eye on the T23 medium tank for a while but I'd like to know something about the quality before I drop $150-ish USD on it. My previous experience with resin has pretty much put me off of it except for small conversion bits.

The M103 has my attention.  I would like to fondle the kit parts before committing to an actual purchase but that won't happen unless the company has a vendor table at a local show.  Definitely some nice subjects listed but like you say, the prices are a bit harsh.

I too like the T23 kit. I know someone who had built the M103 some years back.I will ask him how the quality was.

1/35th scale MBT-70 Main Battle Tank (U.S. Version), kit #1-058 is now available from Commander Models

Click on thumbnail image or html to view additional images of the kit.

The price on the product page is listed as "TBA."  There is a rather wordy kit review sans images at CyberModeler that is claiming the price for this kit will be $159.95.

Finally something to tow behind the one version of the HobbyBoss M4 HST :)

I believe it will be around AU$130.00 ..... same price as the old & very accurate Cromwell kit ... but maybe more reliably available.

Have asked if the 17pdr version will be done too -- would be cool to do an "in service" version with the late tracks (similar to Canadian Dry-pin type).

Mmm... very tempting but the problem is I would have so many conflicting ideas of what to do with it that I would probably never start it.

Let Greg buy it, that should guarantee a lower cost, injected kit within a couple of years.  ;D  :icon_zombie:

For armour kits that's my job :(

Just look at all the IDF tanks & conversions I've bought in resin over the last 20yrs .... & now they're all available in plastic ! :icon_twisted:

Normally that would work - it certainly did for their MBT70 - this time though I already have the Cromwell kit...

I've built/still have some kits from the 1990s. By the photos, looks like they've upped their game over the last 25 years or so.

Neat thing is that they have a monthly special.

A mid-1990s offering, when they did more foreign kits.
