« on: January 11, 2022, 12:06:07 AM »

Using 2 kits picked up at the last show, an AFV Club Stryker MGS and a Hobby Boss Merkava ARV.  I scratch built the skirt with experience from the King Ghidorah skirt, went much better this time. It will have the Stryker’s MGS.

Skirt

The proof of concept.

Side engine bays.

1st run - basics

2ND run – closing the holes

Off to a good start - carry on! (Mastiffs have pretty powerful jaws, too, as I recall.)

Awesome!

The Merk really dwarfs the MGS, I thought you were scale bashing for a second!

The Merkava is considerably wider but not, actually, that much longer than the Stryker platform; Steve has just put a fairly significant extension in near the rear of the tank hull.
