ive built a german escort carrier a while ago, DKM Wiesbaden.
i think i have a few more hulls somewhere in storage, i still have some raw materials left, might ahve a go at a Soviet escort carrier, perhaps with navalized Polikarpov Po-2's and I-16's, might even throw in a few Lavochkin La-5's.

Obviously took a 'creative pill' to concept & build that carrier.  :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:   Liking your scratch work and detail for 1/144.

Crunching the numbers comes up with length of  ~339 feet.

An idea I have toyed with for ages:  What if there was a 8th or more Ming era Treasure Fleet voyage that made it to Europe?

Imagine the effect of a fleet of 50 or more ships, some maybe 100+m long, and perhaps 20,000+ people arriving in Europe say in the 1440s.

Before anyone gets trigger happy and moves my post to the Kit Review section, I'd suggest that this benefits those in the UK & EU who might want to pick up a bargain basement ship kit and jump in on the fun in this GB.
