an interesting range of 3D printed kits and conversion items in 1/48, 1/72, etc.
i have sent for their 1/72 MiG.25 sets so will pass along my thoughts when recieved 8)
cheers, Joe

I have been looking at a lot of the stuff there! Very interesting indeed! I wish the heavy bomber conversions werent so costly!
-
I've been looking at the 1/72 747 stuff as I wouldn't mind upgrading my AiM 747, but the price of four engines is more than the kit itself, need to seriously decide if I can justify that sort of upgrade
-
Yip a tad expensive methinks too, package stil not arrived as yet so fingers crossed
On a related note, iv been looking at Jeff Fontaine's neat Sketchup CAD. drawings 8), ive a basic ABS. 3d printer in my workplace for student prototyping, resolutions not brilliant but might be fun to try making something hobby related, il keep you guys posted on the results (itll make a pleasant change from using it to print mobile phone cases, etc.)
cheers, Joe

I was going to build one in 1/72 scale myself, using a 1/100 scale Global Express as an example, this sort of nullifies it -- as I just laid out $75 to get a BAe P.1214, I may have to get one too as it seems a bit of a bargin ---

Have just acquired their Sentinel R.1 ASTOR and XB-52 Conversion. Upon initial inspection, I must say that I am impressed with the quality. Construction will be a little more difficult then the typical "tamigawa" kit but certainly not a major effort.

Interesting fact with Click2detail: they will do most of their kits in whatever scale you desire (not just those scales listed on their website). This is one of the advantages of the 3D printing technology they use. So fr instance, if you want their RAF Sentinel R.1 ASTOR in 1/48 scale rather than the 1/72 listed, they will do so - they have confirmed this to me personally.

good question, it was the auto desk student pack when i was refreshing my skills back in 2005-6. I.e the full version but with student pack water marks on everything i produced. I think it was the 2005 version but will have to dig it out to see.
