Good afternoon Gents,
It's seems to be a lifetime since I actually finished a project, but I finally did...
The premise behind this jet is what if the Tomcat had never been produced and the F-4 continued to be the workhorse of the USN, plus what if the USS Ranger ( the second carrier I served on ) was still steaming the seven seas. It was a fun build with a few bits of a F-14 thrown in as well as VF-1 Tomcat decals..

Very nice, I'm interested in hearing more about this enhanced Phantom and what sort of mods it has to keep it relevant into the 90s.

Looking nice! Clever use of the F-14 ventral fin decals under the F-4 fin :)

One mod that sticks out (to me at least) is the Tomcat's Television Sensor Unit (TVSU) under the nose. I'm sure there are others I can't make out, but that's the most obvious.

Well, Eddie, you could make me a believer, old fireman's tales aside!
It sure looks the part and the period. Your work never ceases to be an inspiration and this beauty clearly demonstrates your off-the-charts talent and skill!
