Both of its stablemates, the Beaufighter and Beaufort carried torpedoes so why not the Blenheim as well?

These would be a nice builds. Airliners built around the Bristol family of both the Blenheim and Beau models.
Work in progress ::

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

Random ideas, both based upon Mk.1 version (since i like the look of this more):

  • Carrier based version with folding wings
  • High Altitude recon with extended wings

Technically a Bristol Fairchild Bolingbroke, this still provides some inspiration:

Again, it would be cool to see a Mk.I version with similar floats...

Out of interest (and not to go off-topic), max take-off weight of a Blenheim (Bolingbroke) is nigh on the same as a Hawker Typhoon/Tempest  ------    ;)

I think, though, that the Typhoon or Tempest would require a more streamlined float mounting (given its ground attack usage, I'd urge for the Typhoon on floats).

I prefer the Mk.IV but a Mk.I would be better for carrier op's, as the pilot would have better visibility for deck landing.

But how about a carrier-based torpedo bomber version of the Mk.IV with a shortened nose, Bristol Hercules engines (ex-Beaufighter), dorsal blister turret (ex-Beaufighter) possibly with a .50cal replacing the .303, a forward-firing 20mm cannon in the upper-right nose & manually operated rear-folding wings?

Engines could also be Bristol Taurus or Pratt & Whitney R-1830 Twin Wasp (both ex-Beaufort).
"This is the Captain. We have a little problem with our engine sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and, ah, explode."

Yes I agree, I was just making a point that the Typhoon/Tempest would need very large floats (two of them too) ------- not like some models shown as having.

Replace the quad round headlights with LED's in a shape unique to the design, ditch the Senator tail lights and do the same.   LS-3 and a Trimec 6-speed stick, Bluetooth, ......whoops!  This thread is about the aircraft.   Sorry.   Moving along as though nothing happened.

Me too.  Very Heinkel glass-nose design but more practical.
