I'll start things of with something I call the Breguet Baguette that I made out of plastic bread bag clips a while back.
I started with this:
(http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g392/Bri2k/Breguet%20Baguette/breadclips01_zps5e3f67a3.jpg) (http://s1099.photobucket.com/user/Bri2k/media/Breguet%20Baguette/breadclips01_zps5e3f67a3.jpg.html)
And ended up with this:

Here's something I made from a 1/72 Novo Bleriot XI a few years back. I swapped out the kit engine for a radial inside a SPAD cowling and added spats and a gun. I call it the Bleriot BS-1.
(http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g392/Bri2k/Bleriot%20BS-1/BS_One_3_4_Penny01.jpg) (http://s1099.photobucket.com/user/Bri2k/media/Bleriot%20BS-1/BS_One_3_4_Penny01.jpg.html)
(http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g392/Bri2k/Bleriot%20BS-1/BS_One_fuse_Penny01.jpg) (http://s1099.photobucket.com/user/Bri2k/media/Bleriot%20BS-1/BS_One_fuse_Penny01.jpg.html)
(http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g392/Bri2k/Bleriot%20BS-1/BS_One_3_4_Penny02.jpg) (http://s1099.photobucket.com/user/Bri2k/media/Bleriot%20BS-1/BS_One_3_4_Penny02.jpg.html)
The rigging was done with steel guitar strings and a lot of bourbon to keep the hand steady:
(http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g392/Bri2k/Bleriot%20BS-1/BS_One_taildetail.jpg) (http://s1099.photobucket.com/user/Bri2k/media/Bleriot%20BS-1/BS_One_taildetail.jpg.html)
Who says monoplanes are "simple"?
(http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g392/Bri2k/Bleriot%20BS-1/BS_One_006.jpg) (http://s1099.photobucket.com/user/Bri2k/media/Bleriot%20BS-1/BS_One_006.jpg.html)
Not sure I have the patience left to try something that complex again...

I built this a few years ago: "Petit Pet" - a Coanda Monoplane (http://frank.bol.ucla.edu/ppet.htm)

I love Brian's "Breguet Baguette"; I think it was the inspiration for this one.
-
Guys, those are brilliant! Brian , I simply can't believe that lovely little plane is made almost entirely from breadbag clips! Now you are the Master!!
-
I'm glad you liked my Baguette, deathjester! Here's what it looked like before paint:

And, for better or worse, here's a shot I took over the weekend of some of my older W.W. I models flying in the Kitchen Ceiling Fleet:

Very nice all around.
Baguette... love it
-
You've told me about your CFC (Cottage Flying Circus) before but I had no idea...
And are all/most of the biplanes rigged as well?
-
The funny thing is the ceiling fleet is all mostly older models from 8-12 years ago. All the biplanes are rigged. Most biplanes don't look right to me without rigging, despite how challenging it can be. It took me years to move from sewing thread to wire. Wish I'd done it sooner.

That ceiling display almost looks like a scene from "Hell's Angels" ;)
