Built way back in 2004, this is still one of my favorite little desktop models. Starting with a Konami trading kit of Sky One, I used the same method for flight as the Fireball...rods, supper glue and cotton. The water was celluclay on a maple wood block. The celluclay looked more liked oatmeal than water, as I primed and painted it, the paint began filling in areas. The secret to the glossy water was several coats of future floor polish.
This model was featured on the cover of the 2006 Starship Modeler calendar.
