Title: Space GB Guidelines
Post by: taiidantomcat on January 15, 2014, 04:28:31 AM
Mercury-- Have Fun!!

Venus-- GB runs from January 15, 2014 to April 15, 2014

Earth-- Any Real World or Science Fiction space Figures, Ships, robots, anime, mecha, profiles, stories, are acceptable

Mars-- Already started projects are welcome, I try to be as inclusive as possible, but something under half done is fair I believe (PM me if you need to!)

Jupiter--  Have BIG Planet Sized Fun

Saturn-- All entries must be finished and posted in the completed builds section on the deadline day

Uranus-- The more pictures the better, we love seeing progress however slight

Neptune-- Inspiration can be found here(please feel free to ad some more!): http://beyondthesprues.com/Forum/index.php?board=25.0 (http://beyondthesprues.com/Forum/index.php?board=25.0)

Pluto-- This rule is not a planet. Ignore this large rock mass.

Don't make me refer you to rules Mercury and Jupiter  ;)

taiidan,

Are NACA/NASA test aircraft okay or do they need to be actual spacecraft?

Cheers,

Logan

 :o

Thats a really good question and certainly falls into the "support element" of an organization like NASA... I will allow it in the same way that I would allow this

even though only one thing in that picture is actually going to make it to space.

In the name of all that's holy, unholy or just has a few holes in it, do NOT draw Radish's attention to that one...... :o

Sadly, none of the things in that picture are ever going to make it to space again.   :icon_crap:

  ;D

Oh, we're all grown-ups, all right! Age-wise, anyway.

It's just that some of us have taken the saying "Growing old is compulsory, growing up isn't!" to various extremes. ;D

Add to that the other, "Men don't stop playing because they grow old, they grow old because they stop playing!", & you have this mob down to a "T"!

(Note: there are 2 members who use these sayings in their sig's, thanks for reminding me every day of their wonderful truths!)

Some Americans are awkward enough with the pronunciation of Uranus, they are calling it Urine-us.  Geeze. :icon_nif: :-\ :-\

Sorry, but I am a little bit confused about the rules for entering this GB :(

Only "solar system related themes" apply?
Or can it include themes related to other planets .... say, "Dune"?

Thanks!

Real world and Science Fiction  :) Dune is fine, so is a space shuttle.

Thanks!

Great.

So a Dune related theme it will be....without fear :)

    "I must not fear.
    Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
    I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past me I will turn to see fears path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing......Only I will remain."
