Hi folks,
Triggered by a comment by Paul Wagner in his Polish Air Force c.1939 thread (http://beyondthesprues.com/Forum/index.php?topic=1146.0), here is a thread dedicated to your PZL.23 Karaś Ideas and Inspiration.

I wonder, maybe RAF Army Cooperation aircraft? Carrier based perhaps?
Regards,
Greg

Certainly has stylish spats.
Install bigger engine and make into a kind of fixed gear pre-Skyraider.

The Karaś big brother the PZL P.46 Sum has always made me think of a fixed gear Grumman Avenger.

As to re-engining the P.23/P.43, for a number of reasons the most likely (in RW terms) European liquid-cooled
inline engine would be a Hispano 12Y.
BTW the export model P.43 was a P.23 with a Gnome-Rhone 14K radial.

Lacking the graphic skill, let me just suggest a slightly deeper gondola mounting a forward firing 20mm cannon.
