Modernised Leander class Frigate - Airfix 1/600

Been wanting to to do another one of these - properly - since I was a kid.

Fitting her with new radar mast, gun, hangar &flight deck, plus a VLS system!

Always been a fan of the type 12 and consider it a shame Australia wasn't more adventurous with the last pair they built.....just need a 1/700 injection mould Type 12 and the parts bin for some real fun.

Wow that sure finished up a treat!

I really like the little helicopter. Wonderfully done in such a small scale!

Cheers Brian - had to add quite a few details to the helo to get it to look like a Wasp, but I'm happy with it !

Not too sure how a Type 12 would handle a Mk-71 but I like it!!!  Tim Allen would agree; more power is good!  8)  Nice job man!

Could you explain the mast/sail you created please.  I'm very intrigued.
