XA-10X 1/100
« on: December 28, 2013, 02:48:21 PM »
For Christmas, I got a Revell 1/100 Easy Kit of A-10:

Of course, I am going to remove weapons and shark mouth but not only: I will decrease its span and length, having the jets installed on the wings probably...

Before I butcherize the A-10, my son required that I show how it is normally... (minutes maid without glue nor cutter):

Butcherizing has started!:

This will be a canard, with jets above the wings.

That looks cool! Wouldn't look out of place in some sci-fi flick!  :)

Love the look, Tophe!

Since it's a bit smaller, perhaps only one engine mounted in back?

Either way, great mudfighter!  :)

Neato!  Has a distinctive star fighter feel to it now.  Perfect for a good sci-fi movie  8)  If you want to stay in the real world it strikes me as a possible parasite aircraft.

Thanks for the comments, friends!
The parasite idea is especially interesting, as I could let the sharkmouth on: aboard an observation aircraft, it would be released to frighten the attacking ones, without a single shoot, just showing teeths...
