Some fabulous news for de Havilland Mosquito fans with the announcement that Avspecs Ltd. has been commissioned to restore a 5th Mossie airframe - this time destined for the Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar in the UK. "Once completed the aircraft will complete a commemorative tour of New Zealand, Australia and then on to the UK in honour of the Commonwealth pilots that flew the" type during the Second World War.
Avspecs is currently working on Mossie No.4 NZ2308, an Australian built T.43 which when completed is bound for the USA.

this is a composite image depicting the three airworthy Mosquitos that have so far been reconstructed in New Zealand - Gavin Conroy from Classic Aircraft Photography photographed each aircraft individually and put the image together in collaboration with designer James Orphan from Classic Wings Magazine.
No doubt this image will need to be updated in the not to distant future. 😁
