I have some Sintra board and that video is accurate. It's great stuff! Tamiya extra thin (or equivalent styrene glues) will melt it slightly, although the bond won't be quite as strong as styrene to styrene.

Sintra is one brand name for closed-cell "foam" PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride).
It glues easily with PVC "pipe cement" for heavy applications - you can thin
the plumbing cement with MEK for easier application. Hot glue sticks to it
very well, ditto epoxy.
