Polygons Aerodrome MK.II
« on: August 30, 2018, 03:26:27 PM »
Back again, again. I hope the thread sticks this time.

Starting fresh on flickr because of photobucket.

Firstly, an opinion needed: cut along the line or not?

Soviet tailless bomber. Gonna have to be careful straightening the engines, the hole for the engine nacelle goes almost all the way to the end of the wing.

Untitled by BTSpolygon, on Flickr
Going to cut the tail off a bear. Instead of starting with the 1/200 kit, I've started on the non scale kit I got off Aliexpress just to get an idea of I need to do to the bigger, nicer kit.

Untitled by BTSpolygon, on Flickr
Also converting a non scale macross kit into a real worldish 1/144 fighter.

Stay tuned for more.

Those are some interesting concepts!

I'm looking forward to seeing what happens to that Bear.

Don't know why but to me the FSW Phantom looks a bit BSG-ish. Its very good and I would like to see more.

Interesting, I was getting more of a Klingon vibe.

A spur of the moment build. Think VJ 101 but with props.

Tailless Bear. Doesn't look quite right with the nose and radar, I wanted more of a B-2 nose, but the radar is pretty integral. I guess I could chop it off and call it an earlier model.

I don't see a problem with the Bear, looks fine to me. Put some paint on & she'll look excellent!

I like the nose just as it is. Gives it that big Soviet look.

If I don't plan it, it can't go wrong!

If it's great, I did it. If it's naff, I found it.

Those are some sweet little wonders and it's hard to pick a favorite.

I've got to admit though that upgraded C-130 is really growing on me.

Great stuff!
