Sweet! 8)

And good to see a kit I'd probably never get around to building put to good use.

Great job, Zac!

Nice stuff.

The Vigilante is such a nice shape, if somewhat traditional,  there are a lot of other options that come to mind

Thank you folks! I really like the look of it in overall grey and thought it'd be kinda more interesting than SEA.

Looks good - I plan to do something similar but in 1/48.  Will probably try to fit a Pave Tack pod to mine.

"Vigi-Might"? Is that a hint at a specifically Australian WMD?   ;)
Biological or chemical, though?  :P

The dark grey looks great on her.  :-*

Seeing Vigilante this color brings out a sorta Soviet look I had not picked up on before.  As if Vigilante inspired part of Mig-25 design.
Different color scheme for a different look - I like it.

The earlier mockup of the twin-vertical fin version looks even more like the MiG-25.

Good catch!  Of course, we now need someone to build a twin-finned Vigilante in Navy colours with some AIM-54 under the wings.

With those you wouldn't need to fold the top of the vertical fin for hanger deck storage.  Really need to do a model of the A-5B/RA-5C with twin verticals like that.  Going by eyeball, a pair of verticals from the smaller-than-1/72" kit should work on a 1/72 RA-5C airframe.
