Reimagined Goa'uld DeathGlider (Mitchell's 2nd Whiff)
« on: May 01, 2015, 04:20:58 AM »
Jack O'Neill sighed deeply.  It was definitely one of those days...not only had a last minute distraction from Sgt. Siler caused him to stumble going through the Stargate's event horizon, he had landed flat on his face - to the extreme amusement of Daniel.  Carter fussed over him, while Teal'c merely looked....inscrutable.  He's good at that.

Anyway, pride and grazed chin salved, the team headed out to explore, when Jack's bout of...unfortunateness struck again - a howling whine signalled the approach of an aircraft.  Swiftly taking cover, SG-1 watched as large fighter sized aerospace craft shot past.
"Well, that was new, I..", Jack begin, but was interrupted by a flurry of plasma bolts from the BACK of the fighter!  With no time for surprise, SG-1 hurled themselves back behind cover.  In the distance, the ominous looking fighter banked around for another strafing run...

Frankly, not enough Stargate stuff on the net, is there!  This little beauty is the result of a pile of spares, our deep love of Stargate, and the conundrum of the X-15 missing its canopy...what to do??

At the time, I was building the big Moebius Seaview, and had a spare bow cap, which is when I noticed that if you split the cap down the middle, you would have what looked like Death glider wings! Mitchell readily agreed, and some old GW decals, and a bf109 canopy later, you have this winged horror!
