Wow talk about sharp!

I really like how clearly demarcated that anti-glare panel is!

Thank for all the comments guys

BbB - I used Hobbycraft masking tape to get the straight line, if you look closely at the pics you can see some breakthrough where I curved it around the gun ports, I will rectify it with a fine brush later.

Here's a couple more photographs with the tailwheel installed

This has been modelled in the take off position, the landing position will be much lower. The tailwheel retracts forwards into the fuselage.

I wish you will add the canopy now (no need of military roundels for me, but the canopy is the bird's eye, mandatory...)

Thanks Tophe,  it's nearly finished, but there has been some delay. I have recently moved from working on a lappy to having a proper table as a workbench. Unfortunately  my cat, Claude, has found it too and wants to set up his neighbourhood watch from it.

We will have words..............

Hi all pics will be posted tonight (uk time) but I had to comment on replies.

Tophe -  got the "go", we have agreed a space share scheme.

Elmayerle - you are so right, when we are in the kitchen Claude waits by the back door for Mrs Lady Mog to let him out! This is despite a perfectly good cat flap in said door.  ;D

Vuk - I believe you  ???

GTX - That's one peurty cat. It's looking up at you defiantly and saying "no whiffing for you until I get my whiffing treats! "  ;)

Thanks Guys

Oh, don't worry (or maybe you should worry...), Monty is keeping an eye on you lot:

He's a bit older now than in that first photo...he started the hobby young.

Well guys, as promised, here's the finished article.  I was tempted to paint stitched scars where the engines meet the wings and christen it 'Igor' but common sense prevailed, aluminium finish and basic markings, it needed to be polished and light as possible.

So I give you my own, my very own JXP-51 Jetstang, hope you approve.

Fantastic, Mog, it looks brilliant! Nice work with the gun nose.

So I don't miss out on the cat posts here's Kylo, who has exquisite taste in models:

Without wanting to take away from your thread, in that photo it's four Academy 1/144 Frogfoots for a friend and the Monogram 1/48 Huey Hog for me.

"hope you approve."  Heck yes !  :-*
Moving from USAF to ANG, Jetstang would have served on for many years.
