Man, am I slow… :banghead: :banghead:
Hi all,
this is my usual spring come back special. I know, I know every time I say I'm back for good, I keep up the rhythm for a few weeks and poof, like the great Houdini I vanish… But trust me, this time it will be different
Apartment advanced a little, career did as well, private life… uh let's forget about the later, and models, well… a lot of the started stuff is still started, and some new models came along   so I guess I'll keep you posted about those because they are the hot ones on the bench right now.
First, De Havilland Hornet, from Trumpetter (how come I feel the need to write the name in full instead of the first five letters… Can it be I heard those letters somewhere else
). Kit is fun to build, and their stops it qualities. Canopy is odd shaped, seat is actually a couch, and the wheels has as much in common with the real thing as do I with ET. Anyway, fun build I said, just added some Baracuda goodies for a spitfire in the cockpit. Panel is from the kit, with decal punched and died (fun because is comes with a little hammer)
Nationality options: USA, Taiwan, Uganda, Algeria, Uruguay
Second new project, nearing completion, an Egg plane :drink: P-38 with RetroKit resin cockpit. Fits easily, decal from kit can be used for the dials. Wings have been described. This will be a tribute to the NFL, more on that later
Third one, is one for my office. Sales are really pushing for 10% growth, luckily we operate the stretchy version of the 747
Next one, a new holland gnat, in flight. Airfix kit, PJ production pilots (I support local business), represented in flight, Spanish air force. I present to you, José and Andres.
And finaly, an Airfix Vampire T11, Pavla cockpit set, will be Polish. Same stage as the Gnat, in need of post sanding rescribing.
That's it for now
Later all
