For the night attack one, self-lasing or is the target lased from another aircraft?  I could see my OF-5F concept working here.

^  I suppose either way would work. Shouldn't be too hard to fit a Pave Knife pod on one of the pylons. Maybe even something like the TRAM turret of the A-6E in a part of the bomb bay?

GodDAMN, I can't afford anymore kits! Why do you do this to me?  :icon_beer:

Because I can.  >:D Nah, truth is, I might need two more Buccs myself now.  :-X  Eyeing the upcoming TANMODEL kit for this. Once they release the 1/72 version, that is.
Cheers,
Moritz

Perhaps fair it in to the front of the bulged weapons bay door?  Alternatively, Pave Knife on one of the pylons and drop tank on the matching side of the other wing with two GBU-10's on the outboard hardpoints.  I am tempted to wait on the 1/72 version(s) of the TANMODEL kit to do these.

Mate the Pave Knife pod with one of the slipper tanks.  There is enough material in the after portion of the Pave Knife pod that could become part of the slipper tank without much effort so that all you have is the rotating portion of the Pave Knife pod extending from the front of the slipper tank.

The 48th scale Buccanneer from AirFix has one version that includes the extended/larger/longer slipper tank shapes that were used on SADF Buccaneers which might make it that much easier to blend the parts from the Pave Knife pod with the slipper tank.

As posted elsewhere already, images like these:

Make me wonder about a carrier based (or otherwise) ASW variant with mini sonobuoys in weapons bay and perhaps a torpedo under each wing (maybe faired into the fuel tanks).  This could fill a role somewhat similar to the supposed Su-32FN.

Not sure about torpedoes but that reconnaissance rack and pyrotechnics section might make an excellent container for chaff and flares plus a couple of ECM jamming systems.  Think EA-6 or EF-111 roles but twenty years earlier.  Protecting the strike package as they zoom in to take out hostile surface units.

EA-6A went into service in 1966, somehow I don't see the capability existing in 1946.  ;D :icon_fsm:

Buccaneer entered service in 1962.

Well now you have bought up my favourite Post War jet.. plus more nice pix of most versions I already have on the shelf in Whiffer version, LuftMarine, RAAF. I do like the RAN version though
My take on the RAAF Bucc using the F-111 Scheme

I would also consider India to be possible alternate market

For completeness..Blackburn/BAE did offer the Buccaneer as a competitor to the Intruder, with predictable results

I'm seeing a potential forerunner to the JP-233 airfield denial weapon in these pictures.

That recce insert looks like it's made in two parts, so maybe design an anti-airfield weapon insert based on it. Make one section for smaller munitions and the other section for larger ones.

You could mix and match it too. Have two section of the same type so you could have all small or all large munitions carried by an aircraft.
