1/72 DAP Hotspur

I'm in with an Air Lines Hotspur glider thanks to a generous forumite (you know who you are), whose care package arrived just before the start of the GB. I've been housebound with The Flu (0 out of 5 stars, do not recommend) for just over a week but have done a bit inbetween bouts of coughing and headaches etc.

I thought I'd taken photos during construction because I remember showing my girlfriend my progress, but evidently this was done on Facetime so sadly it was not in fact photos. So here's where things stand at the moment:

A couple of the windows were sacrificed to the carpet monster and were replaced with Humbrol Clearfix...I'm seriously considering poking out some of the other kit bits as they are not flush with the fuselage.

I have a very Australian colour scheme in mind for this licence-built RAAF version that will require some frustrating work but I think it should pay off.

Unfortunately I've been laid low with a particularly vicious flu - proper flu, not just a cold - and have not only missed time at the bench but at school too. The best thing for me is to rest horizontally, so she sits giving me the side-eye...

Progress when my body allows.
