Models are:

Old Hasegawa Viggen, tipical 70's models, raised details but correct shape. I built it when I was a boy. Its armoured plastic make it a good base for whiffing :thumbsup:

Esci/ERTL Eurofighter. Soft plastic with recesed details and questionable accuracy.

Surprisingly, coherence between both sections is notable. There are not steps difficult to fair over.

Total effect of removing original aft fuselage, with engines, and addition of a big engine, is an length increase of about 35 mm. Accordingly, I decided to move aft main undercarriage about 18 mm. Typhoon engines will go to a Mirage-2000 to convert it in Mirage-3000. ;)
