Ooh, goody! 8)

Hope I can get one from BNA soon! Been wanting a Crusader III for a while, now! :D

Only question is "When will someone do a full interior for it?" With the hatches open there's a LOT visible inside that tank.

Well Its a hell of a start on the Crusader line. The Mk 1/MkII had heaps more produced. Although there is really nothing fundamentally too wrong with the Italeri offerings.

But.. elephant in the room... still no Daimler Armoured Car.

The 1/35 Bf109 is already getting some "flak" on LSP and a couple of other sites. I can understand the hate if the scale had been 1/48...

I'd guess that most of the "flak" is related to the scale.

However, I can see where Border Models, & a few others who are producing 1/35 aircraft, are coming from. Their target market isn't the traditional 1/32 aircraft modellers, it's the 1/35 armour modellers, who now have aircraft in the correct scale to set in dioramas with their vehicles. Plus, if they want to do an aircraft diorama, they don't have to source relatively rare 1/32 figures to go with them.

Compared to the 1/35 armour market, the 1/32 aircraft market is tiny, so producing aircraft in the more popular scale ain't a stupid business move.

According to the FB posts, this appears to be a Hot Pork Bun fight over the new Leopard kit. RFM is Rye Field Models.

This post has since been deleted but here is screen shot. The Internet is forever.

Yeah, that was...  :icon_surprised: ....something else.

And then Trumpeter is all "nice bonfire you have here. Would be a shame if someone poured some gasoline on it!" ;D

Would be great if any of these guys do a AEV 3 Kodiak or Wisent 2 armoured engineering vehicle or a Finnish Leopard 2R mine-clearing vehicle. Not holding my breath, though. Probably too obscure. :uuu:

Border Models is to release a 1:32 scale Avro Lancaster B.Mk. I/III

"Today we are releasing our first 1/32nd aircraft BF010 Avro Lancaster w/full Interior. When we first saw the 3D model and BOXART of it, we were hooked. Due to the change of events in 2020, we ended up acquiring the molds for this kit. We spent a year doing more testing, fixing, including making instructions without design drawings in order to make this epic kit a success. Finally we finished it. We contacted the artist, Mr. Mark Postlethwaite. and purchased the rights to use the painting from him. It will eventually be marketed as BOXART for this product. Due to many production troubles and mold maintenance issues, the product will be sold in limited quantities worldwide and will not be produced again for a certain period of time afterwards. This Christmas season, it will be available for pre-order all over the world"!.......................................Border Models

This is the Wingnut's mould. IE box art has not changed.
