@Didi/MarderMan - is that 155mm turret the same as the one that was also seen on a modified MLRS vehicle?

Hello,
Yes, I saw the film many years ago. I thought it was silly to dress up a Leopard as a Panther. We call the film "The Bridge of Arnheim". Yes, that would be an interesting conversion.
Thanks for the tip, Story

.. and T34/85s & T55s as Tigers and Mk IVs, but such are the nature of movie stars.

I think you could do one of these Leopard stars justice - maybe even more than the 'real' thing.

Hello, my ukrainian Leopard 2 A6

Okay, now this is not my quality. 3 years ago I got a box of models from a dead hobbyist. The models should be discarded. Or save something. The basis of the AGM is something like that. This will also be discolored and restored.

 :o >:D :(

try decolorizing

I'm glad you're back in the saddle, building and posting.

As always, inspirational.  Looking forward to your restoration tutorials, for obvious reasons.

Good score, several of those are worth trying to recycle.

What do you use to get the paint off ?  I use caustic soda which works well on enamel paints but not at all on water-based ones.
A side effect is that, if you don't wear rubber gloves, it also removes the fingerprints from your fingers (criminals shouldn't read this).

I use this chemistry

Here the first attempts 3 years ago. The revell plastic will be damaged more

And the adhesives loosen a bit too

I really like this Italeri Leo 2 from AGM. Glue on a few more small parts.

I use this chemistry ...

Also known as PGME (propylene glycol monomethyl ether) or brand names like Dowanol PM (for methoxy propane).

Back row of five, Leopard on the left (as we face the collection) - I vote that as a BRIDGE TOO FAR candidate.

Hey Story,
I had the same idea. But do I want that? No little boy built these models. It was an adult.

Especially this Leo had suffered. OK, let's go to the bathroom

And you are an artiste. I'm just spitballing encouragement. Whatever you come up with, can't wait to see the process and end state.  ;)
