Looks just like the old Case we had, it was listed as a '1946' model on the I.D. plate but
other documentation made it clear it was built before that year, plus it had its original
wartime synthetic rubber tires.

Hope they are better than the IBG kits as the IBG Pioneer seems to have significant accuracy problems in the cab. If it was the only game, I might buy it, but I'm gonna wait for Thunder Model and hopefully they'll be better. _Really_ want a HAT. I have a 7.2" howitzer that needs a ride.

I'd have bet money Bronco (Gecko?) would have beat them to the punch on this. They already had the 40mm gun a penchant for wheeled vehicles.

But you know that if it had been Bronco, each of those stabilizing legs would have 30 parts and tons of PE.

Started collecting bits to build this version some years back, too cheap to spring for the resin conversion kit.
Then shortly after saw the error of my ways and stopped. Just knew sooner or later it would come out as injection somewhere. Now there is a couple out there.

The real Bergepanzer Hetzer had a big winch in the right-hand side of the hull & a rear spade.

When they became obsolete they were, like all German AFVs, modified to take various guns from 2cm to Sig.33's.
