I just finished building this Italian Flying tank.

Since it's mostly tank, the entire project is posted under Land here:

Since it flies, I figured some of you airplane aficionados might be interested.
Hey, Mussolini himself approves!

And what Airfix doesn't know won't hurt them.

I really hope they don't find out. My membership in the Airfix Modelers' Club could be in jeopardy!

Anyway, check it out (http://beyondthesprues.com/Forum/index.php?topic=3701.0)!

Very clever. I wonder how they ever got the tracks to survive take off and landing speeds.

They used Italian sports car technology - very fast, and only has to work for 30 seconds at a time.... ;)
Nice one Brian! ;D

Nice indeed, good use of a pair of Lysander wings.

Crazy, I like it!
What happened when the 37mm gun was fired in the air?
-
Gawd! :o
A Japanese tank, an American turret, British wings, Russian name & Italian markings? ???
It's insane! :-\
But I like it! ;D

Great twin-boomer, thanks! :-*
Uh, I know almost nothing about tanks... is this flying tank a warbird of 1939-45 time? or before? or after? (in your mind)
-
It will probably fly a lot faster backwards too won't it?? ;)
