British Post War Secret Projects.

As these are quite old now, and rather than spread them out in individual threads, I'll lump them all together.

Many thanks
Peter

Did Hawker kidnap Geoffrey de Havilland for help on the P1061?

Cheers,

Logan

My favourite is of course the beautiful twin-boom P122, while... I have been also very interested by the surprising (ugly?) P1061.

Nice to see you moonlighting Tophe, as I am... ;)

Yes the P1061 is ugly, and yet there is something attractive about it...?

Looks like a Su-7 and and A-4 could be used as the starting point to physically model those.

It does look a bit like some Mosquitos have been too long together in an isolated pond, doesn't it  ;D

It reminds me of the Yak - 36 "freehand" design. Form and function have their own beauty. The Fairey rocket fighter looks like something straight out of Flash Gordon/Blackhawks/Gerry Anderson.

  Well done on all.

A few more from an even earlier file...

The second camo is a 'what-if' scheme. Its keeping the standard British pattern but using 'Jungle' terrain/theatre colours.
