I'm thinking of taking a crack at an unlikely FAA aircraft for the Commonwealth GB, and noticed the old Frog F3U Corsair has FAA and RNZAF decals. The kit is affordable enough, but I wonder how much of a chance I'm taking on the decals?

If you can get a quality image of or an unspoiled set of decals you could scan them and print a fresh set.

You have two sets of markings, correct? Take an item from the markings you are not using and try it. If the decal comes off the backing in a reasonable time and doesn't break up you're good to go. You may want to tape the decal up in a window facing the sun for a week or so.
